Child Care/Youth Group Projects (Beth Shalom, Jubilee House)
Two Wednesday evenings a month from 5:30-7pm our participants attend life skills classes. We are looking for groups to plan an activity and a snack for the children on Beth Shalom. This is a great opportunity for Jr. and high school youth groups.

Daily Tasks (Transitional Living Center)
Transitional Living Center depends upon volunteers daily, from maintenance to running the front desk.

Teach a Humanities Class (TLC)
TLC would like to provide humanities classes to their adult and child participants. This could be painting, singing, crocheting--you name it! Volunteers for this position can also choose whether they would like to teach a class of adults, children, or families.

Teach a Christian Ed class (Beth Shalom: women only)
These classes serve as Christian life skills for Beth Shalom. With the goal of educating our clients on how to apply the Fruits of the spirit as set forth in Galatians 5:22. Classes are held on the 3rd Wed. of each month from 5:30-7pm. This is a great opportunity for individuals or adult small groups.

Transportation for appointments (Beth Shalom, TLC)
From time to time we are in need of transportation volunteers. Must have a valid Driver's License and car insurance. This is a great opportunity for someone with a flexible day-time schedule.

Volunteers are needed to greet clients as they arrive, monitor activity, enter data into the homeless administration system, and simply sit down and talk! Orientation and guidance is provided.

Mentoring (Beth Shalom)
We are looking for people who would like to make a 1-2 year commitment to mentor a client at Beth Shalom "House of Peace", supportive housing for women who just left prison and are experiencing homelessness. Being a mentor would help provide a healthy relationship and a support system for clients as they transition from prison and homelessness to permanent housing and responsible living.
