Tabor accepts many in-kind gifts (donations of items). Below we've listed the items that we're currently looking for, as well as a space for you to enter any items that didn't match our lists. Baskets: 4 terrific ways you can help our community

...and bless the lives of families experiencing homelessness. Tabor provides baskets and kits to meet specific needs for its clients. Preparing the baskets or kits can be a great project for your office, youth group, school class, church group or other organization. Simply complete each basket or kit with the list of items for that project and drop by Tabor's offices at 308 East King Street in Lancaster.

Our office is open 8-5, Monday through Friday, and Tabor has parking for those dropping off the completed baskets and kits. Please call first to make sure there is nothing going on that would prevent you from using the parking area. If you have any questions, contact Lucy at (717) 358-9377 or lmannix@tabornet.org.

Items to include:
Given to families transitioning from homelessness to their new home. Families usually have to clean before moving in & are often not equipped with the supplies, while purchasing would stretch a limited budget. Help families overcome this obstacle.
Items to include:
Given to families transitioning from homelessness to housing with infants. Diapers for Tots baskets are a tangible way for you to help families with infants rebuild their lives. Some groups choose to fill a play pen with diapers & other baby items.
Items to include:
Given to low-income families who work with Tabor to find & purchase their first home. It is the little items that are often overlooked when preparing to move into a new home. These kits are an opportunity for you to help families begin their new lives.
We ask that each of the items be small enough to fit in the file folder so they can be easily transported.
Items to include:
Given to families after they have completed a Budget Learning class that helps them to live within their limited resources. This education has been very successful in helping families to obtain & maintain housing, pay bills on time & clean up debt.
